Armorial Ownership 92x119 mm Richard Béringuier. Coat of arms. Escutcheon: quarterly, 1st and 4th, azure (blue), a large fleur-de-lis or (gold); 2nd and 3rd, barry of five, argent (silver) and sable (black). Crest, above a grilled helm: fleur-de-lis arising from a ducal coronet or. Below, a bear rampant. Corner escutcheons: (1) Azure, three fleurs-de-lis or; (2) argent, an eagle displayed, crowned and holding in his claws a sword and an orb; (3) Sable, an owl displayed, perched on a scroll; (4) gules (red), sword and balance scales in saltire (crossed). Undeciphered artist's monogram lower right.
