BUILT: 1899 at Jeffersonville, Indiana by Howard Ship Yard
FINAL DISPOSITION: Sank February, 1907 on the Cumberland River
OWNERS: 1899: Red River Packet Company; 1904: Cumberland River Packet Company
OFFICERS & CREW: 1903: Captain H.M. Carter
RIVERS: Mississippi River; Red River; Cumberland River
OTHER INFORMATION: Ways - 4700; Original cost of the Red River was $12,000 in 1899. She once was sunk from overloading at Alexandria, Louisiana under Captain H.M. Carter, ca. 1903. 1904 She was purchased by the Cumberland River Packet Company and ran on the Cumberland River until she sank in February 1907
