The Kendall Holmes House, 1653, Plymouth, Mass. First Homestead of William Harlow, built by him probably in 1649, now the oldest in the town. A living museum today, it still remains a home by the side of the lane that leads from the King's Highway (now Sandwich Street), to the harbor that welcomed the Mayflower with its brave band of Pilgrims. Title from item.
