Perdew Fancy Duck Call
View Full Image
A wooden duck call with carved decoration of three ducks (one hen and two drakes) in flight around the body. The initials DGB (Donald G. Beste) are carved in strong relief on one end. A light green plastic ring is on one end. The call is 6" long. Perdew's carved duck and crow calls are among his most important contributions to wildfowl hunting in America. The crow call he patented in 1909 is considered the best ever made. He made many calls and decoys to custom order, carving the owner's initials into the design of the fancy calls.
