Description

This summary of the Board of Special Inquiry meeting shows alien Alter Schmidt had two hearings before eight inspectors. He was unanimously excluded from the country on the grounds that he did not show evidence that his brother was able to care for him. He was deported from Ellis Island on December 10, 1902.
