Lieutenant Walter S. (�Wat�) Yarbrough, who was posthumously awarded the Distinguished Service Cross for extraordinary bravery, is buried in Rose Hill Cemetery in Columbia, Tennessee, beside his grandfather, Captain Thomas Gibson of Confederate fame.
