  • Description
  • The fertile valleys of Redmond supported dozens of family farms, beginning in the 1880s and continuing through the Great Depression. Typically, these farm families grew enough food to feed themselves and a surplus for sale, planting berry patches, produce gardens, orchards and often operating a dairy. The milker would have used this stool to seat himself or herself alongside the cow.Donor: Harold Wolever.
