  • In the article, the author describes the characteristics of two kinds of wooden rakes used by Thai farmers in ploughing rice fields. The first instrument is called ""Khrat""; the latter ""Khup"" in Thai. Each of them has a special feature and was, thus, used for different purposes. After initiation of farming machine and modern technologies, the wooden rakes were rarely used and became outmoded.
