Mary H. Cutter letter to Mountaineers in service sharing excerpts of letters from members serving abroad in the war effort, April 26, 1919
This letter is part of a series of correspondence written by Mountaineers to their fellow club members who were serving in the war effort during World War I. The men and women in service acted in a number of roles from nurse, to cadet, to sergeant in locations ranging from West Point to Tokyo. The letters served as a way to keep spirits up and let those in service know about Mountaineers activities although they could not participate in person.
