The Noyes & Holland (also spelled Noyes-Holland) Company was organized in 1915 by Howard H. Holland and Robert N. Noyes. The company largely operated in Columbia County and was initially organized to purchase a timber tract from the Portland Lumber Company. In 1920, the company entered into a contract with the Blodgett Company, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, to log a tract of timber in Columbia County located along the Columbia & Nehalem River Railroad. After this operation was completed in 1939, the company liquidated and ceased to operate.
