This private scrip was issued in Galveston by First National Bank of Burgess' Business College. A vignette of a woman seated at a dock with a ship in the background comprises the left border of the note. The following is printed across the center and right side of the note: ''Current only in the Actual Business and BANKING DEPARTMENTS OF BURGESS' BUSINESS COLLEGE. FRACTIONAL CURRENCY. LOCATED AT GALVESTON TEXAS ''
