    Selucius Garfielde writes to Winfield Scott Ebey to discuss the results of recent elections for representatives to the delegation for the territory and how this affects support against Isaac I. Stevens, the current Washington Territory delegate to Congress. He notes that Jefferson County supports Stevens while many other counties do not, including Clark County. Garfielde states that he will soon be at Port Townsend and wishes to discuss plans for next year with Ebey. Garfielde also mentions the public printer. Garfielde signs his letter as cousin to President James Garfield. less
