  • The Colosseum. Taken inside of the largest monument of ancient Rome. It is sometimes called the Flavian Amphitheater. It was completed in 82 by Domitian. Here was held publicly the contest of gladiators, and duels between men and wild beasts up to the end of the 6th century. It seated about 50,000 people. Date 08/14/1952.
