Both Magnuson and Jackson pledged support for an additional $40,000 allocation to Corps of Army Engineers during fiscal 1961 to supplement the $10,000 initial study fund advanced for the Snohomish River and $5,000 set aside by Corps for study of Nooksack, Skagit and Stillaguamish Rivers. less
