    Thirtyeight people who attended a meeting between the Kootenai and Capt. John Webster, U.S. Indian Agent, pose in front of a building. The meeting was held at Bonner's Ferry in the A.J. Kents Real Estate Office. Mr. kent was acting on behald of the Kootenais so the government could build a school for them. The chief of the Kootenais from 1900-1916, Isidore Chiquiet held the meeting with Capt. Webster, an agent of the Colville Indian Agency, Colville Indian Reservation.
