  • Armorial. Ownership. 77x77 mm. [artist's initials (lower left near dragon's claw):] G.W.E. 1895. In a circular frame, upon a dragon biting its own tail, an escutcheon parted in chief, the upper part with a fleur de lis between two annulets, the lower part with 3 stags passant. [1] Green was a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries and "Rouge Dragon Pursivant of Arms" (i.e. an officer of that rank in the College of Arms).
