  • Blair House at 1651 Pennsylvania Ave. Built in 1827 to house the foreign dignitaries. This was the scene on Nov. 1, 1950, when two Puerto Ricans tried to assassinate President Truman. Truman and family were living here during the remodeling of the White House. Date 06/00/1955.
