Pieter Bruegel the Elder, 1525-1569
Six men who are blind walk in a line one after the other. The first man has fallen into a hole and lies on his back with his legs in the air. The second man is falling on top of the first. The third man holds onto the same stick as the second and is sure to follow into the same problem. The fifth and the sixth don't yet know what is happening. Depiction of the "The Blind Leading the Blind" found in the Bible.
