    The Constitution touches on the objective of the club, the election of officers and their duties, the admittance of members, and the formation of committees such as: the Outing Committee, the House Committee, the Program Committee and the Publication Committee. According to the constitution, "The object of the organization shall be to explore the mountains, forests and rivers of the Pacific Northwest, and to gather in permanent form the history and tradition of this region; to preserve, by protective legislation or otherwise, the natural beauty of the Northwest coast of America; to carry on frequent or periodical expeditions into these regions in fulfillment of the above purposes. Finally, above all, to encourage and promote the spirit of good fellowship and comeradie among the lovers of outdoor.". less
