Sgt. Robert Frederick Johnson, Co. D, 7th Tenn. Cav., CSA, and his wife, Sarah Madison Taylor Johnson hold their daughter, Claudia. The baby died at the age of 15 months after a servant gave her cornbread to eat and she choked to death. The back side is; stamped Robinson & Co. Photographer, Brownsville, Tenn." The second image is of Sarah Madison Taylor Johnson. The back is stamped "From Shartle & Dancey, Brownsville, Tennessee."
