    This questionnaire is addressed from the Spokane Sectional Central Labor Council, and particularly G. B. Knott, the chairman of the Questionnaire Committee, to "every member of organized labor" in the Spokane area. Union members are cautioned that "the monied interests" are collaborating in opposition to labor's interests, and that "since May 1 of this year" businesses have concentrated their efforts on destroying "each and every labor organization". The Council is therefore asking members to fill out a questionnaire regarding the businesses each member patronizes, so that labor can use economic pressure to respond to these business associations.
