Shaw may have had. Secretary of the Treasury Shaw of Iowa harbored Presidential ambitions but they were quickly derailed by leading Republicans. Cartoonist Clifford Berryman shows Vice President Fairbanks patting Iowa Governor Cummins on the head and giving him the seal of approval. Cummins stands at the rail crossing and has just pulled the switch causing the "Shaw Presidential Special" to derail and crash. less
