Nestor "Papa" Lambertis was a Cuban immigrant who played on the Giants as an outfielder from 1931 to 1934. Here, prior to a game, he stands behind the first base seats at Central Park in Schenectady. Not the slanted hillsides that were frequently crowded with thousands of spectators.
