Large cone of solid sugar. Wrapped in blue paper and tied with a twisted cord. 10.25" high. This object goes with 68.1.290, a sugar cutter. Sugar was sold in solid cones or bricks and was a luxury item during most of the 19th century. Westward Expansion; Food Time Line. 16 History; 15 Economics.
