Gold was discovered on the Nome beaches in the Summer of 1899. By Spring of 1900, thousands had arrived for the gold rush. Signs advertise The Elk, The Sideboard, The Reception, The Grotto, and the Oakland Restaurant. Also, a sign advertises that the LOUISE D will sail for Top Cock.Warner Filed in Alaska series.
