The Neely Mansion was constructed from 1891 to 1894 by Aaron and David Neely, early pioneers in the Green River Valley, and has long been known as a fine example of Victorian classic revival architecture.  The Neely farm consisted of over 200 acres and was a social center for the area due to a nearby ferry-crossing on the river.  Through the years, many tenants leased the farm from the Neely family. Located near a ferry crossing it became a social center for the valley. It was later leased out to a succession of Swiss dairy farmers, Japanese dairy farmers and Filipino vegetable and berry farmers. Since its restoration, it is listed on the National Register for Historic Places. less
