Threshing time at the Mumma Farm located South of Monroeville. John Henry Mumma (born 26 Nov 1837 - died 8 May 1925) Brother of George and Rezin is pictured in the center of this photo with his left arm missing. Standing to his left is youngster, Harry Mumma, father of Ronald Mumma of New Haven, who loaned us this family photograph. John Henry Mumma enlisted in Co. 1, 12th Indiana Volunteer Infantry in Civil War in 1864. He had four children, including Wesley Washington (father of Charles, Ethel Sprang, Harry T., and Ella Peckham) of Monroeville.
