  • Description
  • In the spring of 1909, 6th, 7th and 8th grade students and their teachers at Riverton Heights School posed for a class photo. The students have covered the blackboards behind them with grammar exercises and information on the Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition, which was about to open in nearby Seattle. Ferns, flags and portraits of Presidents Taft and Lincoln decorate the walls above the blackboards.
