The e-cybermission winners came to visit the Army Research Lab (ARL) this year. Competing in the contest were a total of 3064 students broken down into 833 teams, of which only 16 made it to the National Final Competition. Students form into teams and select a real-life mission challenge by identifying a problem, formulating a hypothesis and conducting research and experiments to develop a solution. These finalists and their team leaders also had a tour of the ARL to see some of the research being conducted there. (U.S. Army PHOTO by Doug LaFon) (Released)
