The congregation of the United Presbyterian Church from Sebring, Ohio sent this petition to Congress in favor of amending the Preamble of the U.S. Constitution to recognize the authority and law of Jesus Christ. The petition states that the congregation of 165 members were asked for a "rising vote" instead of individual signatures, and "everyone at once arose."
