  • Description
  • The Palmer-Rupp Logging Company appears to have been a short-lived logging company that operated ca. 1916 to ca. 1918. The company was based in Portland and operated in Columbia County in the Nehalem Valley. In 1918, the company's name was changed to the Palmer-Owen Logging Company, which seems to have operated until ca. 1924. (Source: The Timberman, Volume 19, 1918, The Morning Oregonian, 06-20-1924).
