  • Description
  • Victor Watson, Managing Editor of New York American, writes to Washington State Senator Wesley Jones inviting him to New York City to see the status of Prohibition for himself. Watson writes that although Prohibition was in effect, "drinking is done openly and in many instances by persons of consequence." Watson hopes this trip will help influence legislation to strengthen prohibition regulation.
