  • The article features the propagation of Catholic Church in Northeastern Thailand from the seventeenth century to early twentieth century. The first group of missionaries came from Portugal. They provided several social welfare, apart from the religious propagation. This included education and orphanage. The author argues many Northeasterns converted to Christianity because of the generous hearts of the missionaries.
