    This is the 1956 issues of The Speed Way. The Speed Way was a monthly newsletter of the Louisville Cement Company in Speed, Indiana. The newsletter was focused on safety issues at the plant but also included human interest stories from the community. Prior to The Speed Way, the newsletter was called The Speedometer which was published by the company between 1921 and 1929. In 1937, the company created The Warning Star newsletter. It is unclear how many issues of this were produced. The Speedometer came back into publication in July 1941 and continued publication until September 1956. Starting in October 1956, the newsletter became known as The Speed Way which was published to December 1968. less
