This is a flyer specifically addressed to the Japanese members of the CWFLU. It includes a list of union successes achieved for the year 1937, recent news regarding labor negotiations, and lastly it calls for Japanese solidarity with the union. It also cautions Japanese workers against siding with the Arai Union and encourages them to maintain unity among workers of all races by throwing their support in with the CWFLU. It reminds Japanese cannery workers that in 1937 negotiations with the employers for fair wages were sabotaged by the Arai Union when the CWFLU had to sign for lower wages because of competitive bids from the Arai. <>br>Quote from the document: “Arai is due for one more big disappointment.
