Black and white photograph of an early Faulkner Hospital ward. From left to right: Miss Clara N. Pengilly - student nurse, Dr. John H. S. Leard - assistant advisory surgeon, Miss Gamage, Miss Anna M. Bergoud. Wards were separated into male and female units and contained either two or eight beds. Charges for ward beds started at $10.50 per week.
