Arthur Gordon "Art" Linkletter (July 17, 1912 – May 26, 2010) was a Canadian-born American radio and television personality. He was the host of House Party, which ran on CBS radio and television for 25 years, and People Are Funny, on NBC radio and TV for 19 years. Springfield College alumnus Frank A. Wolcott (class of 1952) served as a gymnastics coach at Springfield College. While a student at Springfield College, Wolcott was captain of the Springfield College gymnastics team and a two-time New England champion on the pommel horse and flying rings. He coached at his alma mater for twenty-six years, retiring in 1981. During this time, Springfield gymnasts placed in the top four at the NCAA Nationals eleven times, captured eight individual national titles, and received sixty-two All American awards.

This photograph shows Coach Frank Wolcott and Art Linkletter leading the Springfield College gymnastic exhibition team for the fifth time at the 1979 Homeshow at the Springfield Civic Center, now called the MassMutual Center.
