  • In 1917 Puget Mill Company developed a planned community called Alderwood Manor between Seattle and Everett. As part of the promotion for the Manor, a demonstration farm was built to show the possibilities of the community. The demonstration farm illustrated how to raise chickens, farm fish, and grow fruits and vegetables.
