Studio portrait of a Richard Oliver, Civil War soldier. He is wearing a northern Civil War uniform. Richard enlisted in the 20th USCI in Kingston on December 26, 1863. He died of malaria aboard the steamship Northern Light on his way home, October 25, 1865.
