In his letter, written from the King County Jail, Hirabayashi thanks Mrs. Ring for her continued support and expresses his appreciation for the continued support of the Fellowship of Reconciliation (FOR). He discusses his anticipation of his upcoming trial, particularly his fears that his mother will be made to travel back to Seattle to testify. Hirabayashi writes "I guess those are the things which make stands like this difficult and hardl you cannot help involving a lot of people you love.
