Thousands of Seattle baseball fans filled Times Square and nearby streets to follow the first game of the 1924 World Series. They watched the lights on the Times Automatic Baseball Player signboard to follow the plays and hits. Game information was sent by telegraph from Washington, D.C.In this photo, probably taken from the Times Square Building, a large crowd is following the plays of the World Series.
