Colonial paper currency issued in Delaware on January 1, 1776. Denomination of ten (10) shillings. It reads, in part, "THIS In-dented Bill shall pass current for Ten Shillings, according to an Act of General Assembly of the Counties of Newcastle, Kent, and Suffex, upon Delaware, passed in the 15th Year of the Reign of His Majesty Geo. the 3d." Undersigned but partially illegible. The text on the back includes "To Counterfeit is Death".
