  • Description
  • On verso of image: A part of the Fraser Canyon road belongs to the historic past of the Northwest for it was constructed to the Cariboo mines in 1859 and 60 by the Royal Engineers sent out by Queen Victoria. The present road is but a slight revision of the old and the rubble wall at the left is a part of the road built in 59 and 60.Filed in British Columbia--Fraser River Canyon.
