Battle scene with men armed with swords attacking figures that are on their knees or already on the ground. One man on horseback appears to be praying with hands pressed together over his head and eyes towards the sky. Text: Belisaire, Chap. 3. Point de grace pour les mechans, lui repondit le Chef: ce fut le signal du Carnage. Translation: Point of Grace for the wicked, the Chief replied: this was the signal of Carnage.
