N.E. corner of Columbia and Neil Streets, Champaign. The new Champaign Public Post Office opened at the northeast corner of Columbia and Neil Streets in December, 1966. The previous post office is now the Springer Recreational Center. Beginning January 1, 1967, post offices required the use of zip codes on all mail.
