This is a compound monocular with coarse and fine focus, double nosepiece, trunion, circular stage, sub-stage diaphragm, sub-stage mirror, and horseshoe base. The “Ane Mon Hartnack & Prazmowski / Bézu, Hausser & Cie Sucrs / Paris” inscription refers to a French microscope firm that was in business, as such, from 1885 to 1896. Currently not on view.
