The baseball team of the Ferron CCC Camp. Orlon Mortensen, from Ferron, joined the CCCs and worked in Ferron Canyon. Boys between the ages of 18 - 22 could join the CCCs. They were paid $30 a month--$25 of which was sent home to their family, and they were given $5.00 spending money. They were provided food, clothing, beds, and personal items as part of their job. Rrecreation was also provided for them.
