  • Wahkwahpoakuk was a Kickapoo Indian who lived on the Kickapoo reservation in Kansas. He was photographed by Milo Custer who visited there between 1906 and 1911. The Kickapoo lived in Kansas for many years after they were forced out of Illinois in the early 1800s.
