COBRA GOLD is a multilateral exercise that includes more than 10,000 participants, 45 aircraft and 9 ships from the United States military, the Royal Thai Armed Forces, and the Singaporean Armed Forces. COBRA GOLD is the largest multilateral military exercise held in Southeast Asia and is designed to improve the armed forces' ability to work together during peace enforcement operations and to conduct humanitarian assistance programs throughout the exercise area.
