Edward Hitchcock letter to unidentified recipient, 1834 March 17
View Full Text
A letter from Edward Hitchcock to an unidentified recipient (possibly T. Greene, J. M. Earle, or J. G. Totten) explaining that the Massachusetts government will be printing a second edition of his "Final Report on the Geology of Massachusetts" and saying this will allow for revisions to be made. He tells the recipient that if they have edits to their catalogue of shells they should send them along. He also discusses the format that the catalogue lists will take in this second edition and inquires whether that will be acceptable to the recipient.
